Well, i was asked this question. What is the history of hip hop. I got two answers. It is a dance and i dun care. Hahahaaz, there are two types of dancers in this world. Some are the ones who think we should remember all the legends like sketer rabbit and some oldies dancers due to the respect and that they found the soul of some of the most important element in hip hop in the world that we are still practising today.

There are another type of dancers which is one who doesnt give much of a thought of the past. Which is me. Here is my personal opinion. I love dancing the way it is. I love my craft. I love my body hitting the beats. To my idea, these type of dancers are right and none of them are wrong. Cuz all hav different reason for dancing. I dont stay in the past, i move on. So please stop critic me about that i dont know the history of my craft. And after all, we are all from the same world, same community and same passion. You dont go 200 years from now and expect everyone to know who is Bboy Physicx, Bboy Junior or Poppin Hyun Joon. They would've became oldies on that century.

And for some dancers out there... These are some answers for some student and some anonymous who ask me. Yes, i love dancing. It is dance for life. Dancing is not just a job. U cant become a great dancer if u do not LOVE dancing. Dancing for me is not a hobby, nor a job... It is a lifestyle, a culture, a religion, and it is a big part of my life. Yes, there are alot of ppl who are far better than me in dancing. But they wont get that far if they do not LOVE dancing.

Well, I missed Twenty Four Six. The group of me, Thomas and wilson. The first hip hop group before Elecoldxhot aka ECX.

When we are dancing in 246... I enjoy dancing as it is. The sensation is very different from ECX... It felt more alive. Twenty Four Six is formed by 3 very different people, with very different goal in life, with very different opinion, and very different heart.

Each of us are the champion for a Interschool Talent Competition in puchong. Thomas and wilson was the first year winnner, I was the second year, my students are the third year(2 of the is now 246).

Thomas is a carefree type of guy who is going through alot of hardship... I witness it first hand. He is a very lucky guy yet unlucky. He is the reason that both of us are able to join ECX. Well, i dont think he even had a real goal. He love dancing, but not the Dance for Life type of guy, he wants to be celebrity, but doesnt chase it. But instead, all those stuff chased him. I share my fun wif him, and he is a celebrity-to-be or already is.

Wilson is a die hard passion to becoming a celebrity. I dont know him as well as thomas. But from wat i can tell, he is also not the dance for life type of person. But his goal got everything to do wif being famous, rich and glamorous. But then, things didnt really worked out for him. I tried to get him into ECX but the manager refuses him. He tried hard, actually harder than thomas to become a celebrity but didnt really make it. Now working in a business stream.

Me, Joey... A dance for life type of guy. I didnt care about alot of stuff in life. I just wan to dance. Basic plan; dance, improve, around age of 30, teach more and open studio, get married, have 2 kids, retired from dancing and watch the studio grow, then grow old and die before my wife(Damn, i got my life planned out XD ). Now, being a part-time dance instructor and full time dancer for Elecoldxhot.

We went on our own path now. I am a dancer now, wilson a business man, thomas a celebrity. Hardly contacting each other. But i really miss them and the days we shared together.

What happen to 246 now? It hasnt been disbanded yet, i use it now as a door for my students to go into the professional dancing stream and get them exposed to the eyes of the dancing world. There are alot of talents in my school and goes unnoticed.

Sorry guys, long time didnt update my blog. Alots of ups an down in my life recently. More downs than ups. But here are the ups~!

How ironic life can be when u only realise how important something is when u nearly or lost it. And how much i realise that when someone is in love... the feeling is sooo hard to get rid off no matter how much u make urself hate that someone... U will still love that someone. Strange isnt it?

Sometimes, no matter than she/he put u through, u will still love her. I mean, logically... When someone treat u real bad, it should be logic to lose feelings and dump them right? but Love is the different story. It doesnt seems to work like that.

back to the topic, i represent singapore cuz Suntec City Mall organized a dance competition to find a group to represent singapore in the World Supremacy Battleground in sydney. U guessed it, the champion will represent singapore. Elecoldxhot came in first.^^ therefore we represent.

Lonely again... after all this while.

The saddest day i have been through has come. My gf left me... for freedom. Would u believe that? I wish she would give me a more detailed explaination abt why she dump me before she leave me for good. Strange that, it felt soo perfect when she is with me. It felt like she is gonna be there for me till i am old and die. I took care of her. I gave her everytime i have.

Well, I came across a msg in MSN yesterday. Saying that Everyone says they are lonely. I wonder, is there any truth in that. Well, true... No matter wat or who they have beside them. They always have the lonely feeling tagging along.

Sure is weird, but i felt like that too.

What to complain? My girlfriend is a great gurl. She pretty much be there when i need her. How come i felt like that? I dunno... I just did, felt like writing it here so i did. Dun ask why, hey... it is a blog, u r suppose to right ur feelings here~!

Heyz, and here i am again... emo, no time for enjoyment, stressed, and angry at myself for expecting too many things from everything.

for the first time in this year, i am actually updating my blog. Reviving the dead blog, yea... the one shot in the head and died actually came back to life. Dunno for how long though.

Expectation... Something ppl would do good things for. For example, everyone was a victim of "High Expectation" and most of us unconciously expecting something from others.

For Example, a parents would expect their child to get straight A's if they pay good money for the kids tuition, go for expensive privite school or burning more money on expensive books that pretty much different from the type of paper they are made of.

Well, maybe i too expected too much from someone. I sometimes thinks that i treat my special partner very gud. Sometimes maybe too good. But i was wrong, i too made her sad. But thats the detail, that will be later. But anyways... I expected that if one do something good to others, the larger good will be waiting for them.

I always belived in that. Hoping that my partner will do the same to me. But how wrong i was. It was like just now, i argued wif my gurl. Well, actually I start to be emo and got frustrated abt something. She fell asleep as i was talking. Cuz it is quite late. Big deal huh? cute huh?

Damn it, it is how important i am to her. Well, it made me mad. Made me even emo-er. So, i hung up. And now, I EXPECTED her to call me and apologized, and then again. I was sooo wrong... She didnt, she most likely to have switch off the phone and say "no worries, i will talk to him tmr."

Here is the untruthfull love and a fucking thing that got my mind distracted and waste three quaters of my monthly salary and got me traveling a long way to give it to that "someone". I mess it up in da recent performance I had and I felt real good! I felt that i finally broke free from the hellish nirvana i was in. Damn, some call me being naive and stuff like that. Here is what i should say, "IT IS NONE OF UR GOD DAMN BUSINESS!" come on la, when u thought u will be having a long relationship but it ended in less than a month esp during valentine, how would u feel? dude, all i have to say now, joey no likie ringie...^^...

And I broke it during my windmill spin, well... i dun really noe when I broke it actually, all i know it is still good b4 that perfomance. well, dun know, dun care and never wan to know.
I mean, should I even care after that cold break up? nah, i am just being dump, as most ppl said, they are right!^^, I mean, during 3 performance in tesco, KOI, and taman wawasan, girl screamed, girl asked my number(not trying to boost), they know my name, they wan encore, they screamed again, and teachers kept praising yet scolded me(this is da fun part, remember there is alot of bad words in some part of the song near the end? "Who's Fucking tonight, Whos Fucking tonight..." thingie right? well, no... teacher did not say anything about that part, they scold me for having lil Timmy do all the flipping^^ Hey, it is not like it is my fault!? He voluntered!! NO FAIR! oh ya, 5 company actually asked my number on that day. They said, any futher functions such as these cap goh meh or company special function, they will invite me as a honoured guest(Joey, it is so not true... u r just a dancer!)

on 11th of Jan 2007, i went to melaka for a performence... a drama, cultural, chinese, modern dance... Very impresive and touching, tears rolled down bcuz of my own performence... Tell me I am wierd when u see me ok?

11th Jan, Thurs
Nothing much, just me and dua space dancers went to melaka. Me and dua space dancers including da choreographer stayed up till 4a.m for rehersal. Nothing much happen on this day.

12th Jan,Fri
Holy shit! da bread here is damn nice! i ate 7 sets on da morning(leaving no money for lunch). It is really funny during da morning training! it is like we are mocking da story line. u guys would laugh till u drop dead on da ground if u were there. in da afternoon, da company treat us lunch(luckily). Well, right after lunch is rehersal in da theatre hall. tired, and stayed up till 3, 4a.m again.

13th jan, Sat
Yea, i ate da bread again for breakfast... Da money? i got it from my dancing friends^^. We did a full costume rehersal after lunch. THere is alot of mistake like dancer took da wrong costume and stuff like that. We actually tore a costume bcuz there is little time for us to change costume during da full rehersal. We took dinner at 7pm and get our make up done... it was a pain! Da whole day just dancing and lifting heavy stuff all over da place! Now my hand is trembling, I can't do my make up! i took me 30 minutes to just do my eye! After that, da performence went well and I see many audience were sobbing mainly bcuz of da story. we stayed up quite late bcuz da VIPs wanna celebrate our successfull performence in a high class restaurant... =.=... Just by thinking of da price, i can't eat... Oh ya, i got a banquet of flowers from this small little kid! so cute summore!

14th Jan, Sun
everything went like yesterday except that i will be rushing back on this day. I After performence, took alot of pic, hug friends that i met there, then off i go. I arrived home at 12 o'clock. Oh shit man, it is so darn scary! when i reach at my apartment block... it is almost 12... just a few minutes b4 12... I didn't realize it until i feel abit uneasy. U see, there is this guy using da public phone kept staring at me. When i get to da lift, it opens, but no light inside... Da light came out after some time. I went in, press 10th floor. waited for quite a time, da door that is opened for me, doesn't close. I started to feel really uneasy. i look at my phone, it is one minute to 12 o'clock! i jumped out of da lift b4 anything happened to me. Da lift door closed right after i exit da lift...i start to think all sort of things, supersitious things... i decide to wait there until after 12... But I start to think it is a bad idea when that guy who is staring at me is walking towards me. I dare not take da risk to find out is he coming for me or not. So, i press open button and da door opened... and again no lights... i jumped in, and press 10th floor... i rapidly press on close but da door ain't closing... i stood there for a moment until da door close by itself... it is very unusual bcuz normally da door close alot faster and sooner than that. In da lift it is 12 o'clock sharp! I start to get this scary thought of a person, wraith, ghost, undead or whatever u call it will appear infront of me when da door opens... It is like forever in da lift... when da door opens, my heart skipped a beat... oh dang, my neighbour i going for a midnight walk=.=... i ran to my house and opened da door... Then da door open without me touching it! Shit, it is my sis... who would have thought she is so kind to open da door for me. My heart skip two beats so far... haiz... i sleep nicely tonight.

15th of Jan, Mon
Skipped school, had a good sleep for da first time in da week... just relax and play games... Suddenly find it very uncomfortable... BCUZ IT IS SO DARN BORING! So i sleep again^^. The End...
